One of my favorite stays ever! I can’t say enough positive about this property! High marks all around; including, great workmanship throughout! This added to a very relaxed feel! The surrounding property is nothing short of gorgeous and peaceful. The room was top-notch! Staff was wonderful. The bar is fantastic, and the dining was excellent! The surrounding town was beautiful too!
We spent two very comfortable nights with a modern room and bath, nice breakfasts, and one nice dinner. The inn is in a tiny village with a picturesque ruined castle and church nearby, close to Stourhead and Longleat.

Games room really enjoyed by our grandchildren, could do with a change machine though.
Restaurant served lovely buffet breakfast and good selection of evening meals. Seemed a bit disorganised but it was busy most evenings.
Definitely stay here again as very convenient for Wookey Hole, Cheddar and Weston Super Mare.
Very lovely and quiet hotel within a comfortable walking distance to the tourist attractions, with free parking permit provided. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Really recommended for visitors with the car.
What a charming property! The cottages are adorable on the courtyard. They rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The pub was friendly and delicious.
Beautiful hotel, with fantastic gardens, exceptional rooms & service. We were lucky enough to have a large room on the third floor with gorgeous views of the gardens & hills in the distance.
Lovely property, a bit too far for me from the center of Bath, through an area that did not feel quite safe later in the evening. Otherwise, a lovely property, good value for the cost
