I can't say enough about Zur Linde. It is a beautiful charming hotel set in the most beautiful area of Germany. The hotel staff is wonderful - Christian who runs the hotel and also is the chef is great and his food is really good. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
I recommend getting a room in the main building if possible. I was in a side building with no elevator, and with some physical issues I had, it was difficult to carry my bags. The restaurant was excellent, and known for its grilled beef dishes. The hotel is conveniently located for bicycling along and into the nearby hills. It's also conveniently located for hiking. Spacious suite, clean, comfortable. Great food and shopping all within walking distance. New parking facility outside the hotel opened while we were there.
It was a nicely maintained property with up to date facilities. I did not like the set up of the room. The headboard was near a slanted roof. I was afraid I was going to get up in the middle of the night and bump my head so I slept with my head at the foot of the bed.
We stayed in a nice familyroom where we could really have a good rest in a good bed with good airco. The employee at the desk when we arrived, Mohammed, was really nice and helpful for us. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and especially for this price.
