We had an absolutely divine overnight stay at the Chateau de Sacy while visiting the Champagne region of France. The hotel and room were impeccably decorated and the service was top tier. I highly recommend staying at the hotel for dinner as it was one of the best meals during our trip to France. We were only there for one night but wished that we could stay a week. I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. I really hope to be back some day!
Beautiful hotel, pricey but impeccable. Tinqueux itself is not a particularly interesting neighborhood (and Reims is a somewhat gritty city too quite frankly) but the hotel is lovely. If you're going to Champagne you won't find a better place to stay.
The hotel staff worked with us to help us even though we could not arrive until 2am because of a delay to the UK's Eurotunnel departure (a 5 hour delay). The only thing I found objectionable is that when the room which was apparently designed for a couple was was made to accommodate three people by putting there an additional bed, the room became rather crammed.
GREAT location. Walkable! Just be sure that you get a room with air conditioning if you want it bc not all rooms have it. The location is excellent. Cant stress that enough. Also, if you’re driving, be sure to reserve parking; they have limited space. But you can also park 24/7 at Hotel de Ville parking which is close by
