Absolutely happy with my choice to stay here. Gated community with 24hr security, private beach just a short walk away, and the hotel restaurant serves delicious food and great drinks. You literally don't have to leave anywhere (except for food when restaurant is closed or snacks). Rooms were clean and new. My sister and I stayed at Costarena for two nights and loved it so much that we extended our stay for another two nights. It's the perfect balance of being small enough to feel intimate but big enough to afford privacy. I simply cannot say enough good things about the hotel - my absolute favorite spot in what is newly my favorite place to visit.

Have stayed at the Principe Cayacoa 10 times in the past and this past weeks stay was very enjoyable.
The Buffet style meals over all are good, but not what one would consider gourmet dinner meals. Breakfast and Lunch were excellent. The free wifi was limited to one hour per day. This is an all inclusive hotel and is a good deal especially if reserved at an advertized special rate.
