"The Menjangan is a beautiful resort in the West Bali Barat National Park. It is spread out over a large area with open top mini buses traveling between the various parts available at any time on request. Our poolside room was large and beautifully styled. The two restaurants offer lovely meals and the staff are super polite and friendly. The number of rooms and guests is relatively small so it is never crowded. The facilities and options within the park are good with excellent guided bird and nature watching and easy snorkelling from the beach jetty and excellent snorkelling a short boat ride away. "

"Nusa Bay is an unforgettable location and stay. Take the snorkelling or diving excursions to the reef - an absolute highlight with great guides like Lik Putu. Highly recommend the trip to get to Nusa Bay to see a lot of Bali. If you have a driver, ask for stops at waterfalls and traditional coffee and tea makers to experience more of the mountains between Ubud and West Bali National Park. "My wife and I stayed at Melaya Estate for 3 nights in September 2025. The villa is spacious and comfortable. There is a private pool and direct beach access. It's a quiet area, very peaceful. The staff is excellent. You tell them what you want from their menu and they bring the food to your villa at the specified time. The food is excellent. We are birders and the manager arranged for a driver to take us to the Bali Barat National Park, about 20 minutes away. We highly recommend these villas for nature-oriented customers."

"We really enjoyed our one night stay here! The staff were kind and helpful, even giving me tips for getting to the hotel from the ferry over Whatsapp ahead of time. The room was comfortable and pretty with great air conditioning. There were two adorable tiny cats who hung out on the premises who we loved making friends with :) We didn't use the shared kitchenette for anything except the water cooler and fridge, but it was nice to have. Great place!"
