"The rooms were clean, staff were kind and helpful. We ate dinner there great selection to choose from and delicious same for breakfast! Definitely will stay there again!"
"The first thing that springs to mind is how much the staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and that our time would feel special. The room was great, and the included breakfast and our dinner at the restaurant were exceptional. Convenience to the xc skiing and the pool/hottub amenities was great!"
"The room was comfortable and just as we expected. The grounds were more than we expected, with acres of beauty and cute farm animals nearby! Breakfast was made to order at a time we specified, and was delicious."
"We had a great stay !! Will be coming back. Staff was welcoming, clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The pool/hot tub area was very clean. Nice perk of having a restaurant and bar inside. The bartender was great!"
"Amazing place to stay… right by Jackson Falls. Great staff. Great coffee. Great restaurant. We had breakfast included as part of our stay - well worth it!"
"Excellent visit and excellent property. Very friendly staff, great Taco Tuesday! My dog stayed free which is a huge bonus since pet fees are a total ripoff at other hotels."

When we first pulled up, our hearts sank. We didn't realize we had booked a room at a motel. We didn't think we'd be able to get a room somewhere else at the last second so we decided to stay despite our reservations. I am so glad we did! The Pinkham house, basically an apartment over the office, was very clean, roomy and had everything we needed and then some. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we knew where the best place to eat, shop and...
The place is just a really nice, classic motor lodge. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. They were also really helpful - switching dates when I accidentally booked the wrong date. And they have EV charging onsite! Great place and great price.
Maria & Brian are excellent hosts! Even though we only stayed for one night, and arrived when it was getting dark, her communication with us made check-in very easy. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast choices all sounded amazing but we had our eye on the spinach & mushroom frittata, bacon and home made sour dough toast with strawberry jam. All perfectly served on the time that we selected along with fresh squeezed orange juice and an endless cup of coffee! Wish we could of...
One of the nicest hotel rooms ever. Larger room than most. Great decor. Quality furniture and cabinets. Wood trim and doors properly painted - not rolled on for quick job. Two glasses in the bathroom for guests. Dimmer switch in bath that allowed to use as nightlight. Thermostat controlled AC - NOT through the wall noisy hotel unit. Large shower. Clean new construction- but solid quality build! So wonderful and appreciated!
We love this place. When we first stayed there years ago we had no other options...but now we stay there and it is our FIRST choice. The owners are great. It is very reasonable and they allow my two large dogs. It is an older place but they keep it very clean. They give me ice every morning at the office and they are very informative if you want to know about places to go in the area. We highly recommend this place.
Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. There was a Blizzard, and the room had a small gas stove, it was cozy. Having the tavern downstairs was a bonus, there was even live music. The memorabilia and historic photos around the Inn gave it a quaintness of years gone by. Jack was hospitable, giving us coffee in the am right from the kitchen. The bed is comfy and the sitting room is divided from the sleeping room, a nice feature. Note: No Fridge in the room but they give you ice. I would highly...
This a resort with nearly everything one could want. There is a ton to do on premises, and lot off, being in the Mt. Washington national forest.
Hotel Staff are very friendly, servers/bartenders are a mixed bag.
The food is very good, but pricey. Within 10-20 miles are a number of very good restaurants on Route 302, both East and West of the resort - don;t take all of your meals on the property.
Also pricey is the Spa, but the experience is awesome and the staff incredibly 'on point'...
Slow season so not all activities or restaurants were available but the trade off was how peaceful it was. The views are majestic everywhere you turn. The food was excellent and every staff member I encountered was kind and helpful. When we mentioned it was our 25th wedding anniversary, there were some treats with a card delivered to our room.
A Timeless Retreat in the Heart of Jackson.
I’ve been coming to the Eagle Mountain House for 30 years. My first visit was for my cousin’s wedding, and I remember being struck by the grandeur of this expansive, historic wooden hotel—and of course, the stunning mountain views that are just as breathtaking today.
I keep coming back because Jackson is such a quaint and charming town, and the Eagle Mountain House never loses its magic. Sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair, taking in the...
This was our first time staying at the Snow Cap Inn, and we were pleasantly surprised! We really enjoyed the Inn. Lots od luttle extras - warm blueberry muffins for breakfast, s'more makings, nice hot tub, and the shuttle service to the base lodges. Vwey much enjoyes the staff and location. Great value for the price
