Perfect getaway location. Sits perfectly in the middle of multiple destinations. The place really feels like staying in the middle of the forest, but with all human comforts. Would definitely come back.

My boyfriend and I traveled to Costa Rica for the first time at the end of May, and began our trip at the Arenal Volcano. We chose to stay at Hotel Heliconias because it was so reasonably priced and had received great reviews from other users, even though it is 20-30 minutes from La Fortuna town. This was an amazing hotel, the property was beautiful and there are trails for you to explore through the jungle. The rooms were simple and rustic, not too fancy which is exactly what we were looking for. The staff, including Diego, is extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. Would not hesitate to go back!
Outstanding place to stay! Beautiful grounds, great accommodations and excellent staff! We saw so many wonderful birds thanks to their feeding station. We did their night walk tour and it was fascinating! I’d highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed if your looking for beautiful grounds, great service and bird watching.
The grounds are beautiful with different types of fruit trees, lovely veranda to enjoy the view of the mountains. We especially love the sisters who run the place. They are quite attentive, making sure we were comfortable. We definitely would recommend this lovely bed&breakfast

Suwa Villa Arenal is one of the best places at which I have stayed! We had four guests and stayed for four nights in mid-March. Beautiful rooms with an outdoor patio and chairs, and A/C. We cannot say enough about Hotel El Silencio Del Campo! First, the people who work here are excellent. They were very helpful, positive and clearly cared about our experience. The resort was not small by any means, but felt intimate. The staff made you feel special, they took the time to remember your preferences and your name. The resort is very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again
The Staff here are AMAZING! We stayed for only one night before returning to SJO airport. We needed assistance with transportation and the staff here bent over backwards to make calls and help us. This property is clean and has a nice breakfast. The ONLY negative I would give it - the noise. If you cannot sleep with earplugs, you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong booking La Fortuna Lodge.
so I loved this hotel the first few nights. But there is a lot of stuff that I need to warn others. There's nothing to do here besides a few nature walks.
