This was a gem of a find. Joel the owner was on top of every detail of your stay. The meals prepared were exquisite. Family style tables that allowed you to meet other travelers and exchange past places visited and or give ideas of where to go next. Birds eye view of the beautiful garden where you could watch birds for hours. I would go back in a heartbeat.
The nicest people and wonderful hosts. I mentioned that we would be celebrating our daughter’s bday while we were there and they knocked on the door with a huge slice of chocolate cake and a candle and sang Feliz cumpleanos. It was the sweetest thing and so special for our family. It was such a kind gesture and it set the tone for the rest of our time there. Breakfast was a lovely production. We entered the dining room and they just started bringing out entree after entree, fruit, eggs, gallo...
We had a wonderful stay. Everything you could ever think of needing was provided. For a glamping experience this place is top notch. You have your own private toilet and sink right next to you. The showers were great as well.
This place was fantastic! We wanted a more off the beaten path, authentic experience and this was perfect. The staff spoke only Spanish which we so enjoyed. We don’t speak Spanish well (ok hardly at all) but with Google translate and gesturing, no problem at all.
There is a wonderful 1.5 mile (one way, 3 mile out and back) hike to a waterfall view right from their property! We saw lizards and frogs and I’m sure you could see other wildlife.

Love this place. The owner was very helpful and hospitable, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The property offers plenty of trails and activities, so there’s really no need to leave—you can fully enjoy your time right there. Also, the food at the restaurant is excellent. Highly recommend.
Nice small property with buildings spread around. Rooms 1-4 are in one building, but the rest looked individual. Clean, comfortable room. Bench outside on porch for seating.

GROUNDS: The hotel is magnificent, with individual bungalows surrounding the central lobby/restaurant and pool. The tropical landscaping is gorgeous and dense enough to isolate each of the bungalows, affording privacy, even when sitting in the covered front porch. This was such a great place to stay! The views were awesome, it was very quiet and peaceful, and it was very unique to stay in a dome. We saw so many hummingbirds and butterflies. The caretakers were the most helpful, friendly, generous people. They went out of their way to help us with anything we needed and they also had a cute friendly dog that greeted us. Just a few minutes away there were a couple restaurants to eat at and it was a 5 minute car ride to Rio Celeste. Highly recommend this...
