"Every detail was considered for the ultimate relaxing stay. The meals were great, the lobby always had refreshments and the massaging chair in the room was perfect.
The main draw to staying here was the hot springs. I was relieved that my tattoo was not an issue in the baths. I would love to come back and stay longer next time!"

The hotel restaurant is one of the best serving famous local beef and hotel guests have a decent discount. Highly recommended for visiting Yamagata."

"I had an amazing stay at Bekkan Fujiya Ryokan! The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and made me feel right at home. The baths were absolutely relaxing and beautifully maintained—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I also loved that they are tattoo-friendly, making it easy to enjoy the onsen without worry. Everything about this ryokan, from the service to the atmosphere, exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing Japanese experience!
