"This is a unique property that embodies the tradition of the motor courts that were common along historic Route 66 in the 1930s and 1940s. The small individual cottages are lovingly restored and maintained. The bed is very comfortable and well appointed. And while the space is smaller than a modern hotel room, the experience of staying in one of these motor courts is well worth the affordable price. This would be a great place to stay, especially during this Centennial year of the great Mother Road, Route 66. One should be prepared, however, for a degree of traffic noise in the evening the cottages are adjacent to the roadway. The early morning, however, was quiet and peaceful. There is no check-in lobby. Rather, the owner will give instructions how to enter the assigned cottage before arrival. For this reason those who book through a third-party such as Expedia need to contact the property in advance."
