The hotel is great. Rooms are big modern and clean, the view of the lake is fantastic , and the staff is excellent. It is however a bit of a walking and 15 min of public transport to go to Zurich so may not be the most convenient place to stay if you want to spend a lot of time in Zurich..
The hotel was located in a little shopping mall, which was nice if you needed to buy anything. Very close to the train station. Staff was very nice and helpful.
It is a quirky small hotel, as evidenced by the level door on an angled hill street. The room is small (minimalist) but the beds are nice and comfortable. A/C works great. Making up for the quirkiness of the hotel is that it is very conveniently located to the Zürich HB, without the noise. I would stay here again. For Zürich hotels, the price is reasonable.

Great to have a tram stop right in front, but also was an easy and beautiful walk over the footbridge crossing the Limmat and through the Platzspitz park to the Hauptbahnhof. We traveled to Switzerland for the first time and decided to stay here instead of Zurich because it was cheaper. It is far from all the touristy places but that made our stay more peaceful being away from all the crowds we rented a car so location wasn’t a huge problem for us since we just drove everywhere. Breakfast buffet was pretty good and convenient.
The response from the host was very timely and helpful! I would definitely stay again! However, there were more stairs entering the property than expected or described. This was a true inconvenience for limited mobility persons.
We recently stayed at this hotel for 6 nights on vacation. Although not in central Zurich, it was easily accessible (about 20 minutes) by train. In fact, we used the trains as our mode of transportation mostly and this hotel is just across the street in perfect location. There are many restaurants and shopping nearby within 3 to 5 minutes walk, as well as a small local grocery next door.

Hotel is close to everything and just far enough from the crowds to make it enjoyable. Good price, very clean room, great staff. Free Wi-fi was superb.
