We only had breakfast once, but it was very good and plenty to choose from.
Bar was well stocked.
Hotel car park was GBP21 but they encourage you to use a local shopping centre car park instead which is a 5 minute walk away and only GBP7 and they validate the ticket for you - no big hassle.
Had a great stay at the Hare and the Hound. Great patio next to the restaurant to gather after a fun day and breakfast was really well put together. Room was cozy and comfy and the staff left a nice little surprise in the room.
We were married at Great Fosters 4 years ago and returned for a few days as we were back in the area and it was as we remembered
We stayed in the coach houses as the rooms are nicer than the ones in the main house - i remember we had our wedding night in the main house and much preferred the room I had the night before and got ready in. It was light and spacious
The touches in the room were thoughtful especially the small carton of milk in the fridge as I hate the powder or uht milk left...
Had a lovely 2 night stay. The hotel’s location is perfect for the castle and the changing of the guard. Also walkable over the river to Eton college. Lovely helpful staff and we had a great meal in the restaurant
My partner and I stay here whenever passing through due to the gym and sauna. The rooms are all clean and comfortable, but amenities vary depending on what you book--when staying for business, we stay in a nicer room which has a mini fridge with drinks, shampoo, conditioner, soap, bathrobes etc. When just passing through, we book a basic room which has a shampoo/soap combo, no shampoo, no mini fridge and no bathrobes.
