Craigellachie Hotel of Speyside
10/10 Excellent
"This place is a must if you are visiting Speyside. A most unique and charming experience. From the restaurant serving Scottish dishes, to the Quaich Bar with its outstanding selection of whiskeys, our stay here was incredible and memorable. The rooms are well appointed and clean, and staff were beyond welcoming. A perfect spot for day trips to the nearby distilleries."
Haughton Arms Hotel
8/10 Good
"Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Also enjoyed dinner in the evening. Dog friendly, so our dog could have meals with us in the bar lounge."
The Boat Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Room 2 was exceptionally clean, fresh towels daily and tea/coffee facilities were topped up. Breakfast in the morning was delightful 😊. Definitely recommend a stay at the boat inn"
Thainstone House
10/10 Excellent
"I really enjoy staying here. On this occasion I arrived close to the spa facilities closing but the lady on reception (an Irish accent) was really helpful and explained that it was ok to go in and she would keep it all open for another 15-20 minutes which was just enough time for me to relax and unwind after a hectic day. I stayed again 2 days later and arrived in plenty of time to really enjoy the facilities this time."
Macdonald Pittodrie House
8/10 Good
"Lovely castle-like hotel in the heart of the countryside & a very comfortable room. Staff very helpful. Not the first stay at this hotel and it won’t be the last."
The Commercial Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The small village of Tarland is very quiet, so we were surprised at just how good the Commercial Hotel is. I understand that a lot of walkers & cyclists use the hotel and I'm not surprised, as it is in beautiful surroundings and only 5 miles from Aboyne. We received a very pleasant welcome, and our room was large, beautifully furnished and very quiet. Whilst we stayed for 2 nights, circumstances meant we only had breakfast although on our last evening, we saw that the restaurant was quite popular. Breakfast was special with a large choice of cook to order food and lots of tea or coffee. We will stay here again and recommend it to any one looking for a nice hotel in the area."
Loch Kinord Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The meals were 5 star quality"
Cambus o'May Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in the Kennels apartment and it was ideal, the most dog friendly accommodation we have come across. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the staff were lovely. Definitely going to stay again."
Craigellachie Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The owner was very helpful and super nice. We all love this hotel; we definitely will come back. You can see all the details she put into the building. Well done."
