This is the cloud forest and village of Nono, Ecuador where: I rode a horse in the clouds, got impaled on a tree branch, and was blessed by a lovely 100-year-old woman. An amazing little place near Quito for hiking, cycling, bird watching, horseback riding, and generally having your head in the clouds. "Staff were accommodating and helpful, Games room for the kids included ping pong and PlayStation. We had the pool all to ourselves in the evening. Breakfast buffet is one of the best in the city. Rooms came with magazine and were clean. Minutes walk to Quicentro and La Carolina park. Highly recommended!"
