This was a mother/daughter weekend for us. The facilities are beautiful and everyone was friendly and expressed wanting to make our stay pleasant.

We had an amazing stay at the Davies Family Inn. Jim and Linda were exceptional hosts and personally made sure that we were completely satisfied with our amenities and comfort. Linda even made sure to stock our wood pile while we were out sightseeing. We will for sure go back to The Davies Family Inn. Thank you so much Jim and Linda.

Comfortable rooms with Victorian theme. Brass beds, vintage furniture. Very welcoming host. Great homemade breakfast! Lovely yard, spa & wraparound porch for relaxing. Perfect weekend getaway.

Our stay at Foothill was GREAT!! Rooms were recently updated, all in the 50's motif. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Decor was GREAT!! would stay there again!!

Just spent the night, but the staff couldn't have been any more courteous, helpful and polite. Room was very clean and grounds were well kept. Nice continental breakfast in the morning. Would recommend this highly for a place to stay in Auburn, Calif.

Our room was top to bottom books! So fun exploring the collection. Breakfast exceeded expectations. The very friendly dog and cat were always around to brighten our day. In general lots of character. Can’t wait to return!

It is great place to stay in Placerville, if you don't have do not disturb sign they do the regular room sevice thing. Very kind and nice people work thier. Great place to stay.

Loved my hotel stay as i was not bothered by the staff and the buffet was tasty

Stayed one night with 2 children. The hotel was very clean. The kids loved the indoor pool and breakfast in the morning. All the staff was very friendly. And a huge plus the Wi-Fi was very easy to access and had a excellent signal. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room and facility was clean and well maintained, Max’s restaurant food club sandwich was good (I wish it came with avocado), so all in all no complaints.

Everyone in our group really enjoyed our stay here. The common area was beautifully lit and included yard games. The rooms were clean and very spacious and the staff was very accommodating to our request for a lower level room and even followed up with us to make sure we were happy with our rooms. Highly recommend!

The management is very nice and they work hard at making everything about the rooms and the stay top quality. Over the phone my reservations were handled with professional expertise and courtesy. The rooms were clean and the hotel allows small pets for a reasonable fee - which made our visit with family in the area worry free. Been staying a while and the staff is very professional and accommodating. It’s nice to know if you need something any time of day or night they are more than glad to help. Rooms are up to date and for the price it’s tops! Breakfast is better than most with a nice selection. Coffee or tea is available and good. It’s not in a prime location but where you need to go is not too far.
