"The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!"

"Lots of attractions for kids, rooms a bit small, but ok. Staff very friendly. Close to mountains and next to cable car 🚡. Lots of free parking spaces. Hotel offers free access to local transport links like busses or trains to Innsbruck, so you can leave the car in the hotel and travel by train to Innsbruck. Inside the hotel there's also train tunnel museum which is interesting and free. Food was quite nice too. Would recommend. "

"Wow! Das war ja wohl mal perfekt! Tolle Lage, ein sehr netter Empfang, super motiviertes und sehr nettes Personal, tolles Essen und ein hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet runden das Ganze ab. Der Innen Pool war angenehm warm und schon ab morgens um sieben geöffnet, und so groß, dass man sogar drin schwimmen konnte. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, ganz klar, fünf Sterne!! "This was a beautiful hotel in a very beautiful area! Everyone at the hotel was so nice especially Phillip and his wife! They got ski passes ahead of time for us so we could Ski at the glacier!
