"A bit further than we wanted to stay but it was a crazy weekend in Montreal. It is right in the bus/metro line and that was great because driving in the city is not easy and parking is even worse. So that’s a 5on a scale right there. Not the greatest part of town but I didn’t ever feel unsafe. Hotel was clean and beds were very comfortable but it was dated and rooms need better lighting. Parking was a huge plus"

"Chateau Versailles is in an excellent location - right on Sherbrooke, metro nearby, walkable for the unis and museums and core downtown sights. Super friendly staff and feels safe. Enjoyed the breakfast - hard boiled eggs, ham and cheese, yoghurt, nice coffee and teeny pain au chocolat and crossant super addictive. Bit dated but nice clean and great value."

"We recently stayed at the Warwick in Montreal. We were attending a Canadiens playoff game and were very happy with the location. Only minutes to the arena, cresent and Saint Catherine streets. Old Montreal is a nice walk as well. We stayed with our small dogs and this hotel truly is a ‘pet friendly’ hotel. Upon arrival in our suite there were 2 comfy dog beds, bowls and a special note and gifts for our dogs. We travel often with our dogs and The Warwick went over and above. The staff are...
