"Friendly lady in the reception/shop which was nice. The lodge was big and modern only let down by dirty carpets( various stains), dining room chairs and the settee. We also found the mattresses to soft. We didn’t complain as we were only there 3 nights but any longer then would be worth checking these things are sorted before booking. Good location, park nice and quiet."

"We stayed for one night and had a wonderful time! The staff were all so friendly, approachable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt welcomed straight away. Our room (room 12) was beautifully decorated, very spacious and spotlessly clean. The air conditioning in the room was really good. We had Sunday lunch which was lovely. The roast potatoes could’ve been crispier but everything was tasty and well presented. Breakfast was very good too. Lovely hot food from the kitchen and a nice little continental selection. The car park is a few minutes walk away but they were fine with us parking in the courtyard to unload our suitcase. We look forward to staying there again soon!"

"Stayed for one night, but wished we had stayed longer. All the staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. He dined at the Lamb in the evening and the food and service were excellent. There was plenty of choice for breakfast with a range of additional cooked options. We had great views from our room which was very quiet."

"Highly recommended this hotel the room was clean and comfortable, but I would say if you have issues with stairs request a lower floor. The staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you. We had dinner at the hotel, great food and plentiful, the same with breakfast. The bar was good as well, old and had character. Great stay. Will definitely stay again."

"Overall experience was great. Arrived at the location not sure what to expected but was greeted by a polite gentlemen which then he guided me to my room. Room was great spacious and the beds were comfortable. shower perfect. For a family of 4 the room we stayed in was perfect. Breakfast was cooked fresh in the morning and tasted so good. portions were great all was good. thank you for your hospitality when im in the area and i need accommodation would definitely stay here again. Thank you very welcoming and friendly staff."
