The location was approximately 20-30 minutes from downtown Berlin by train, which was a 15 minute walk from the Hotel. If you are planning a visit to Schloss Sanssouci, this hotel is a great choice. It's just a short walk to the main entrance to the palace park. It's a little bit of a hike to the center of Potsdam but if you like to walk, it's a pleasant one. Or you can climb the tower and see much of the town from there. My room was up a steep flight of stairs but the staff cheerfully lugged my heavy suitcase up there without having to be asked.
