This hotel is an excellent base for exploring Taormina. It's inside the walls, near shops and restaurants (although on the opposite side of town from the Roman amphitheater). The service was excellent and friendly. The breakfasts, served on a rooftop with a commanding view, were outstanding - pretty much anything you might want, including eggs cooked to order. Caution: you can't pull your car up to the hotel, which is in a pedestrian-only area. You park in a multi-story garage, take the elevator...

Recently spent 5 nights here and was not disappointed. Hotel is modern and very clean and all staff we encountered, especially Maryl and Maria-Antoinetta at the desk were very hospitable and helpful. Location is great being right across from the beach and only a 20 minute drive to Taormina. I do recommend that you have a car though since you will have to drive to the regular tourist spots that are nearby, and there are many.

The great thing about this hotel are the staff and the location, a short walk from the train station. The staff is so accommodating and wonderful - they are there to help you with anything you need and are always polite and cheerful. Rooms are absolutely beautiful and they keep them clean! I will absolutely be back whenever I go to Reggio Calabria again! Truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had!
