Hotels in Aoshima Onsen

Simple minimalist design. Beautiful hotel, lovely staff very polite although communication was a challenge because of the language barrier. Few issues though: Limited room service menu and only available until 10.30. As we arrived late we had to sleep hungry after a very long journey. All restaurants were fantastic but huge elaborate set menus only. Need a restaurant with casual quick dinning. Pillows were so hard to sleep on, very hard. We stayed for three relaxing days in late April in a 9th floor room with a great view of Aoshima Island. The non-smoking room was very nice and well maintained. The staff were all very nice even though the hotel was crowded due to Golden Week crowds. I'd definitely stay in this hotel again if I was to visit the Miyazaki area again. Route Inn has become my go to for budget stays in towns and cities. I have used them 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Here, Saiki and Yukuhashi. Rooms are a bit bigger than average, renovated, clean, all amenities. They all have onsen type facilities (including Schick shaving foam), staff are great. Breakfast always included.

Comfort, cozy, clean place. Close to beach, aoshima station, supermarket, onsen(hot spring), surf shop and many restaurants! Staff is very kind!

Our stay this time was part of a surfing trip. There were four of us. The room was spacious and clean enough. The staff were very friendly. The only thing that could be improved is that you can't park your car close to the cottage, so loading and unloading luggage in the rain is a bit difficult.

Beautiful property and beautiful location. Very pity that all beaches around were closed due to the typhoon.

For the price this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in at this price point. They evidently listened to some previous reviews and doubled down on cleaning and neatness. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The lobby and simple restaurant are very clean, and were decorated for the upcoming holiday. 10/10 would stay again.

This is a good value for money love hotel considering you're staying in an expensive city. The hotel does need updating as the rooms are a little tired. But the bed is very comfortable, the room is clean and spacious and the shower and bath is good too. There's parking and it's in a good location. We stayed for 10 days and it was conveniently located and very clean. I wished they had air condition in the common aisle area as the weather can get very hot (the room, kitchen area had good air conditioning). Also we had guest complaining about any noises as you really had to open/close door quietly etc...and some guests the very last day was very noisy until 3am in the morning while the door of the rooms, youi could hear everything.
