"This hotel is very much a boutique hotel. No elevator or air conditioning but still a very nice and clean room. The decor is shabby chic and bedding is comfortable. The included breakfast is not as much as we have had at other hotels during this trip but a quick yogurt and coffee and croissant does the trick. The staff was very friendly and even took our bags up to our room for us. FYI the parking is not real sat either which was nice."

"Good hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep, since you’ll probably be out exploring most of the time. It’s not a 5-star property, but it does the job for a night or two. Staff were friendly and the location is spot on — about a 10–15 minute walk to the lake and the center of Thun. Parking is available right next to the hotel and it’s affordable, but make sure to have some Swiss Franc coins on you."

"Lesson learned - Don't book a stay with a property that doesn't have a single person on-site or on-call to help. By the time we arrived our check-in email from the Guesthouse still had not arrived in our email inbox. This email is the only way in to your room, as it holds the lockbox code which holds your key. "This was the most amazing place. The views, the lake, the rooms and especially the staff. We had the most wonderful gentleman checking us in and 2 of the waitstaff went out of their way to help us book train tickets. If we ever return to Switzerland we will be sure too stay here again"
