"Friendly, helpful staff; good breakfast; clean, spacious, modern room. Could not ask for more for the price."

"This hotel is beautiful. It is elegant but warm. The rooms are a lovely size and the back gardens are such a great outdoor relaxation spot. What makes this hotel special though are its people. They were not only kind, looking for opportunities to do more for their clients, but they were knowledgeable. I can not thank them all enough for making our stay so enjoyable."

"Amazing! Beautiful building. Great and clean facilities. Wonderful area, very close to the tram. So easy to meet and connect with people in the common spaces. I would come back if I were to be in Amsterdam again."

"Incredible, helpful concierge, Peter. Beautiful property. Classic. Wonderful pool and hot tub. Helpful staff. Only tiny complaint is absence of USB ports in the rooms, and no financial channels like CNBC or Bloomberg. Overall, a very pleasant stay for us. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Very good location and a great view of the river"

"Staff was amazing, room was made daily, location was perfect and we had a canal room with a wonderful view! I would have given this hotel 5 stars except for the odor when entering the lobby, reminiscent of scant sewer smell unfortunately and the graffiti on the outside was not a flattering sight (obviously not their fault). We would stay again."
