Mark was the best host and an amazing and funny guy. He made us the most amazing meals (he's a chef) and the place was just beautiful. these pictures don't do it justice. The room blended in with the park-like environment. Easy walk to village and restaurants. Staff was friemdly and the room was spotless. Would love to return as soon as possible.

After a long walk from the train station (apparently public transportation is very scarce in Rocamadour) to the hotel, the receptionist was very kind and welcoming. We stumbled through our language barrier (she was very patient with me) and I was checked in and on my way. A great French country boarding house. We came at off season and had the place to ourselves! Best eggs for breakfast of our entire trip!!! Dinner at the hotel was more expensive than I expected but worth the price. Would love to have been here on a warmer day to explore the grounds but it was just too cold. If you have a car you need to explore the countryside around this place
This out of the way small hotel is amazing The gardens are lovely, along the river and old bridge, and the restaurant truly special. It’s close to Rocamadour and other sites.
FYI: There aren’t shops nearby, but a casual lunch place with good food is a fifteen minute walk.
This place is a mini paradise. The room was sparkling clean and the host was perfect. We had the room with the twin beds, which were quite firm. There are restaurants within a five-minute drive, and breakfast at the BnB was lovely. I wish we could have stayed all week. If I’m in this area again, I’ll definitely return.
This hotel is very clean and has gorgeous views. But what was also remarkable was that the staff was not only friendly, but also went above and beyond to help us figure out transportation during a train strike. We truly appreciated everyone that helped. When you visit, be sure to eat at the restaurant! You won't regret it! It was delicious! Merci beaucoup!
The property is beautiful and has a super view of the village on the opposite hillside. The room was comfortable, large, and well decorated in a vintage style. Breakfast was very tasty. The staff were all friendly abd helpful.
This was one of the highlights of our stays in the area. The owners were so welcoming and warm, had so much knowledge about the area and we loved their dogs! The views from everywhere were spectacular, the garden was beautiful and every corner had another surprise- like the cave system from the town square market fare.
Chateau De Maraval was just the castle experience we wanted from the medieval region from France. We were on a girl's trip and were provided two rooms that were beautifully furnished and stocked up.
All the interiors was tastefully done. Outside of the castle is medieval but the rooms were with modern amenities. It was like living the best of two worlds. The property is well maintained. The staff were very helpful and kind. We had an amazing time. We definitely would recommend this for families...
The staff was very welcoming and more than helpful. When we found ourselves in a bind because we needed fuel and the only service stations open were automated (which don't accept American credit cards), the hostess went with us and used her personal credit card to get us on the road again. (We paid her back with cash.)
