We were staying for one night on a road trip having driven 6 hours. We were stunned at how lovely the place , village and owners were. Real value for money and the experience.

Excellent staff, very polite and helpful. Beautiful, serene surroundings. Breakfast or a glass of champagne out in the patio surrounded by beautiful plants is amazing.

Bernadette was an excellent host. Family of 4 was very comfortable in two adjoining rooms. Rooms and bathrooms have all been renovated with modern amenities . Beds were very comfortable. Host asked us the night before when we would like breakfast, her suggestion for 9:00 am was perfect time. Fresh pastries ( all homemade) yogurt, jams, juice and coffee and chocolate milk for kids, were all ready for us. We enjoyed talking to Bernadette about our travels during breakfast. We arrived late afternoon and were greeted first by Tokay, the owners' cute lical dog, then by the proprietor who, after rhe usual introduction. asked if we would want dinner and outlined thr menu. When I told him that ine of us was a vegetarian. he immediatel proposed a meatless dish, since he was also rhe chef. The auberge is somewhat isolated, but you can take an enjoyabe walk up the country road that faces the inn toget a sense of rural French life. It is also not far from the medieval...

The room was spacious, and the view of the river with a small lanai was fantastic. We did not utilize the kitchen; however, it was well appointed. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Certainly would recommend this hotel for a very pleasant stay.

Nice hotel, fairly close to autoroute, but extremely quiet. Comfortable bed, excellent restaurant. Nice hosts.
