A new facility opened only 25 days before our arrival, the hotel combined two colonial-era houses with a courtyard between them. The stay at Wyndham started off bumpy, but Orlando saved the day. First room- the a/c sounded like a high powered vacuum. So Orlando was able to change my room. The rest of the stay was excellent. Staff is helpful. Best mojito in Cartagena is made on the 13th floor. Reasonable menu too. Uber from the Wyndham to any point of interest is most $3-$4 the most. Glad we selected this hotel.
It was very comfortable. Although I had to take a room in the second floor and with multiple beds. I reserved for only one bed. That was very uncomfortable. That is good for groups but not for me that I was traveling alone.
Staff was absolutely terrific - warm and friendly, and helpful with all of our needs. Made us feel very welcome, and encouraged suggestions how the hotel could do more to make us feel comfortable.

My friend and I (2 women) stayed one night and felt safe and looked after by staff. Our room was large and clean. We felt we were among locals and not in a tourist enclave. The best part was being able to walk to the airport for our morning departure flight with no worries about being there on time due to traffic.
The fact is that I missed my flight on Monday January 13th, 2024 and couldn’t make it to this hotel until Tuesday, I called that Monday to advise of the issue and was given 3/4 of what I spent for that Monday in credit to use at the rooftop bar… That is excellent customer service!
