"Stayed here before the newly branded Eden Bay when it was a bit of a detention centre vibe & half way construction site but had alot of potencial so I gave it a second go. They have now included (weak) wifi & added some landscaping ( needs heaps more greenery ) but the reception area is still a terrible Ist Impression & the common areas need some love & attention :> The rooms /pods need a deep clean both in/outside & need to pay more attention to detail with presentation :> one of the cabins is a storage unit for linen ect ect that could do with a curtain or something to hide the mess from guests :> its still a bit half arsed but has a modern contemporary bright simple functional set up :> nice bathrooms & air con :> the staff are friendly :> cross the road & your on a beach with shops & cafes close by = a little overpriced for what it is :> overall rating 7/10"

Silverwater Resort

"Room is good. I generally book this property so that i can access swimming pool. I have done over 100+ days bookings at this resort in last 2 years. But i had few unusual experiences. On Thursday 14th, i was using pool at 9:30pm, a person from the staff came and asked me to go because he wanted to close, even though pool closing time was 10pm. I though it was unprofessional and insulting. I was given a reason that bookings were less so closing early. Secondly, i have been asking every time to allot room in village green area, they usually used to say that we have noted but even after rooms are underbooked they won't allot room in village green, not sure if there is any reason."

"What an amazing stay at RACV Cape Schanck Resort. The resort is absolutely stunning, with beautiful coastal views, fantastic facilities, and a really relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff were warm and accommodating, and the dining options were great. Golf course was fantastic, with amazing views on the back 9."

"Property was listed as having a queen bed, 2 singles and a queen sofa bed. What it actually had was a queen bed (which was comfy, clean, enough blankets, all good), a sofa bed which wasn’t great to sleep on, and one small thin mattress over a slab of wood basically which was meant to be one of the single beds, and no second single bed. My sister had the worst first night’s sleep and almost went and booked a room elsewhere for the second night. We actually thought we’d booked into a retro themed caravan park however it’s a regular one with some of them painted and named along the retro theme which did look a lot older than the pictures. If it was just the 2 of us staying it would have been fine for a budget accommodation. I’d say comfortably it slept 2 who are happy to bunk together in the queen bed, definitely not the 6 it claimed on the listing. Heating was nice and warm. Water was clean and they were fine letting us check out an hour later. Guests tended to hog the entire communal bathroom in the mornings to do their hair and makeup so take that into consideration when planning your shower. Not sure why they wouldn’t just do that back in their caravan 😅 Don’t use the claw machine in the games room, the claw isn’t strong enough to bother. Main issue though was the extra beds. If just for 2 ppl it would have been fine. Easy drive to the hot springs and Sorrento."
