The hotel is not in a readily accessible area - but that is true for a lot of Corsica that is worth visiting. I was in Corte looking for a place nearby to stay and Hotel des Deux Sorru showed up 18as km away - straight line distance. Distance by car was actually 100 km and 2 1/2 hours of driving through some beautiful mountains and gorges (that is a hotels.com problem though). Excellent mountain view, breakfast, and staff. My only complaint was the lack of sidewalk from the hotel to the city centre. This is not the hotel’s fault. We took a car from the hotel, as we did not feel safe walking on the road, especially at night. There is not much of a shoulder, and the drivers tended to drive quite fast!
