The restaurant was closed it we were served a delicious cold platter on our terrace. Everything was excellent! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Sadly, we had to miss breakfast to catch our train in Lyon. Hoping to return!
My stay at La Saudade was a very pleasant experience. The hosts are kind and interesting people, you are steps from the very charming town of St. Peray (which has infinitely more going for it than the other ‘wine towns’ in the area). Enjoyed a lovely dinner at La Ruche, and was told that the nearby Auberge is also a fun family destination. La Saudade is the embodiment of a lovely chambre d’hotes - clean, unpretentious, interesting old home, and is also personal and memorable! Recommend!
We had a wonderful stay at La Mère Biquette. The rooms were clean and charming, the food was delicious, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The property was so beautiful. It was very kid friendly with lots of open space, and the pool was very nice as well. We would definitely stay here again!
This hotel was used by my wife and I on our way back from Corsica to our home in Deux Sevres, France. It proved to be a good choice, as it was situated right next to the motorway. The hotel was extremely comfortable, with large bedrooms and an equally spacious bathroom with both bat and shower. The staff were delightful, and went out of their way to help. For example we had failed to notify them that we would like to use their free wifi facility, when we paid online. The young man on reception...
Nous avons séjourné une nuit, de passage. Je cherchais pas cher et de confort acceptable. Du coup, par rapport à ma recherche, c'était parfait! Si vous voulez un palace ou de grand confort, allez ailleurs.
Mais ...cet hôtel était vraiment comme nous voulions : prix imbattable, personnel très agréable, les lits étaient confortables et l'hôtel super calme. Du coup, nous étions contents. Sinon : chambres plutôt petites et sans modernité ou décorations. Simplissimes mais fonctionnelles. Voilà !
My husband and I stayed at the chateau for one evening with our small children. We explored the property after we arrived and put them down for bed before enjoying dinner by ourselves... one of the best meals we have ever had in our lives! Florence and her husband treat you like family. It was a true treat to have stayed there!
