This place is fantastic.... It feels like a fairytale, and since there's not that many rooms, it feels like you have the place to yourself. Absolutely beautiful grounds to explore, and the rooms feel very luxurious. Super comfy bedding too! Oh, and an amazing breakfast!

Great hotel next to the castle Burg Reichenstein. Upscale hotel with great views of the Rhein river or castle. The rooms are comfortable but not for longer stays as there are no closets or drawers or even a table. The bathrooms are interesting, beautifully done but toilet, shower and sink are separated; it's a bit odd to have the shower in the room/hallway with only a glass door so no privacy at all. Lovely accommodations adjacent to an historic castle. I stayed in a single room on the 4th floor (a.k.a. "attic space") which was perfect for a solo traveler. This compact room offered excellent views of the Rhine River too. One thing about the 4th floor though, you will have to walk up from the 3rd floor as there is no elevator service to the 4th floor. If you want a true German small town experience this is the place to stay. Staff was excellent. A car is a must. We traveled to Cologne and Eltz Castle. Would definitely recommend
