Welbeck Hotel and Apartments
10/10 Excellent
"I had another comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Welbeck Hotel. I received a warm welcome on arrival and allocated a very good room with a comfortable bed and a good bathroom. My breakfast was nicely cooked and set me up for the day. The Welbeck is in a good location and was convenient for me when arriving by ferry in an evening from Liverpool. Many thanks to the staff for another enjoyable stay."
Opul Boutique

"The hotel was in a great location. The airport bus stopped about 10 minutes walk away. Marks and Spencer’s, local shops, esplanade and theatre are all within walking distance. The hotel offers a good breakfast and the rooms are a good size."

Classic Lodges Ramsey Park
8/10 Good
"A very nice hotel but room for improvement. Breakfast was OK but let down by the concealed baked beans, and long standing rubbery eggs. It seems they were left out from start of service. On the last morning bacon was hardly cooked and sausages looked anemic. The poor breakfast didn't encourage me to book an evening meal. Tried to ring reception one evening. Unanswered during several attempts over a 30 minute period one evening. Other guests dogs barked for 1.5hrs one night. Not hotels fault but dog owning guests need to be encouraged to be responsible for their dogs. All fairly minor issues and we did enjoy our stay."
The Claremont
8/10 Good
"Rooms at back can be noisy overnight with staff talking while smoking, bins being filled and collected, road sweeper."
