Hotels in Mount Penn

"Great pool & hot tub (the pool has 8 ft deep end); however, it was disappointing that it was closed on our departure morning due to an "incident" the evening before. Our toilet was a bit wobbly on the floor, and folks in the hallway and nearby rooms/door slams could be heard clearly/loudly in our room. Other than that, it seems to be fairly newly renovated and well kept. The beds were comfortable - a bit on the soft side but still somewhat firm."

"The hotel itself is very nice. However the location of the hotel is not ideal. This hotel is located next to a freight train track. If you are a light sleeper I would not recommend this hotel at ALL. All night long, the train passes every couple hours. Every time it passes, you will hear the horn at least 10 times. The hotel offered one pair of ear plugs, thankfully my husband had his noise canceling earbuds. Our room was located on the highest floor and that did not make a difference."
