"We had a wonderful stay at the Doubletree in Reading. The check-in process was seamless (and the signature warm cookie is always a plus!). Our room was clean, quiet, and the AC kept everything perfectly cool throughout the night. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with local recommendations. It’s also conveniently located near shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The staff was very nice, the hotel was clean. The bath tub had no grips or mat thus it was very slippery. We used a towel in the tub. Definitely a hazard "

"For the amount of the stay I believe that it should be a lot cleaner. The room had a very sticky floor, which I did ask the very pleasant lady at the front desk to please send house keeping to clean. She immediately had it taken care of. The cabinet that holds the refrigerator had no handle to open. I had to improvise to get it open. The water pressure was very low and there are not many TV channels. After, like a few minutes the TV reception went and could no longer watch TV. Garbage piled up near elevator. The room and hallway have musty smell and my husband and I had no desire to stay, we checked out early. "

"The staff were all very nice. Inside the hotel room was clean and somewhat up to date. However, the toilet didn’t work very well. The maintenance guy said they’re in the process of updating the toilets but wasn’t fun to deal with. The hallways and property is pretty run down and we smelled some odors. We stayed there on a Saturday night and I guess people were coming home from the club so there was a lot of noise that woke us up and people revving their engines. Unfortunately wouldn’t stay there again. "
