The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. "2nd night of stay there was a large 2000 plus crowd at ceremony directly next door to hotel. Management would have known this ceremony was happening. They made absolutely no attempt to assist their guests, with hearing protection or using rooms that may have been quieter. No management at hotel after hours."

"The property is immaculate with beautiful artifacts and well taken care of by a very, very polite staff. They can’t do enough for you. The spa is wonderful overlooking the ocean. They go out of their way to make you so happy."

"The staff, air con & bed were very good. However this hotel is more suited to local guests, especially families, than international travelers. Eg the nearest atm is a 15 min taxi ride away. Also this hotel holds large corporate functions so access to the pools can at times be limited."

"No Gymnasium or exercise facility. No mini bar in the room. No coffee pod machine in the room, not even a plunger and they refused to supply either. The pool at the Pool villas consistently carried leaf litter. Adding insult to injury, they have deliberately crippled WiFi calling on their Internet connection. When asked, they gave no reason for this. I emailed them about this and eight days later am still awaiting a response. I used the WiFi in the cafes in town to make WiFi calls. No other establishment I have stayed at in the last six months (about five) did this. The establishment is old and tired: I get the impression they're just waiting for an opportunity to knock it down and rebuild. 5 star? They're kidding. Maybe 25 years ago. Not now. The world has moved on and expectations have risen."
