I recently stayed at the Embers for one night and wish I had a longer stay. the location was very private and beautiful. the area around it in Blowing Rock is great, with lots of dining options. the rooms are spacy. I had the single king size room . the bathrooms and showers are just beautiful and they have all the essentials you need. Very Clean, beds are comfortable, coffee water & expresso available in your room. robes and slippers are provided

This place was a great surprise. The room was very clean and very comfortable. It was very nice that the linens and towels were not the typical stark white that you see in most hotels. The linens were very soft and had all the touches of home. The towels were color coordinated to match the rest of the room. Lobby was absolutely beautiful ,staff was super friendly. The room could of been cleaned better as far as vacuuming goes. There was multiple fingernails next to the beds and just not cleaned well. Stains on the bed skirts that would come out with a wash. Diner next to the establishment was really good food!Breakfast at the hotel was all over the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. So many options! The best was the make your own waffles! I would definitely stay here again.
