"This was definitely a step above the average city centre hotel. Friendly, helpful staff, clean, comfortable room, and great breakfast including a cooked option which was prepared individually. A nice touch to provide a quality bar of chocolate, and some drinks in the room."

"The hotel is lovely stayed twice before however I checked in and got given a room and the room had damage to a wall on the right side and then damp and wet on the wall on the left. Went down after taking photos and the receptionist was apologetic and swapped the room to another however the next room had damage to the wall. "

"Clean room. Shower controls were reversed, which caused some entertainment. Odd (and not very nice) smells around the corridors…smelled like bad drains. "
