This beautiful little hotel is a great place to stay when in the Black Forest of Germany. The hotel is an older building which makes it even more comfortable with a rustic feel. The rooms are on the smaller side, but much like hotels in Europe. The rooms are air conditioned and very clean. Couldn't have enjoyed my stay more! I had just arrived after 30 hours of traveling. The reception staff was very friendly and accommodating to a tired, non-German speaking guest. The room was good sized, and very comfortable. When we arrived, the staff was very helpful in showing me where to park. The restaurant at the restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed the included breakfast in the morning. There were plenty of options to choose from. The hotel was quaint and a nice change from the usual big chains.
Most excellent location, has underground parking, adjacent to Casino and walking to shopping, dining and thermal spa. We booked our stay last minute as usual, but got a great room with view of city. Breakfast buffet was on point, good choices. Royal Spa use is free, fee for other treatments.

What a magical hotel!! It was the summer mansion of a Baron and you are treated like royalty! Parking is right in front of the entrance. The staff insisted on bringing in our bags and then accommodated my 80 yr old husband's mobility issue with a ground floor room. I cannot rave enough about our room. This hotel is immaculate and very inviting! The staff are very friendly and generous! Throughout our whole trip to Germany this one was my favorite! The views of the Black Forest are breath taking and the breakfast they serve is delicious! We arrived here towards the end of our trip and had quite a bit of dirty clothes.
