I make regular visits to Guanajuato, and Hotel de la Paz has become my "go-to" lodging. Unlike many 5-star reviews, this one represents not the pinnacle of luxury, but rather an optimal combination of ambiance, location and price. The location cannot be be improved. It faces the beautiful Plaza de La Paz, and three rooms feature balconies overlooking that beautiful urban space. The iconic Union Square is a three minute walk, a distance that serves to mute any noise from late-night revelries....

This location was at the heart of everything in Guanajuarto. Right in the center of the Historical district and a beautiful place to stay. The staff was wonderful and attended to our every need. The food for breakfast was very good and convenient in the mornings . I would stay here again without hesitation. The rooms were lovely and big, with all of the best in conveniences. Spotlessly clean and very secure! Lovely stay....
