This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe!

The grounds are gorgeous, the pool is sublime, and the lodge is nice to eat, drink or work. The food was great for the money, which was not expensive and pretty tasty for a lodge out here. Great house on a macadamia farm. Everything is really beautiful and well done. Two issues that I should mention. Its a little difficult to find the Ulwazi Road since our GPS was not accurate and you need to turn off the highway onto a dirt road. The 2nd issue is the house has outdoor alarm sensors. A siren goes if inside the house if something sets it off. Suffice it too say when it went off in the middle of the night it completely freaked us out. It then went off about 3 more times. The privacy was a huge plus. Three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Customizable air-conditioning in every space. The surrounding amenities and basically being on a golf course made for a relaxing holiday feel. A local pub at the gate had some interesting characters and friendly locals. The utensils and fully pimped out kitchen meant it was easy to make food and snacks. The daily cleanup service was awesome. All in all, a very clean and relaxing place!
