"Very mixed review, since some aspects were great and some not so much! the check-in was arduous, instead of just being told the truth that our room was not ready, and given a realistic time to come back, we were strung along and moved from place to place, it was very hard with kids after a long journey. The check-out was also lengthy and frustrating for no reason. The pool towel policy is pathetic, childish and frankly embarrassing. We couldn't work out where to get them from, where to change them, it was one of the annoying things about the holiday. Overall its a nice hotel, but being on the second floor with no lifts and young baby was very hard, terrible view of wasteland. But we made the most of the pools, waterpark etc. so we had a nice time overall. "

"Terrible service, a very transactional driven hotel with no sense for client satisfaction. I had booked a balloon service however I got sick the day of, and the hotel management instead of rescheduling my tour, decided to take my money with no option to reschedule. Front desk needs to be trained for better hospitality manners. At the end, I lost almost 300 dollars, and when I asked Mgmt if I could get a credit in the restaurant or spa, they refused. So the hotel, is more important to collect money rather than guests having a memorable experience. "

"We arrived hoping for a peaceful and authentic Agafay desert experience for New Year’s Eve, but it turned out to be the low point of our trip. On the day itself, we were informed that a large NYE party would take place and that access to the main area of the camp would be blocked unless we paid extra. We were given conflicting information and quoted two different prices before being told the higher price of 1800 dirham per person. Despite paying 1600 dirham for the standard lunch and dinner package, staff were unclear about where we were allowed to go, creating ongoing confusion. The food was extremely disappointing. It was clear that dishes had been left out all day and reheated, making much of it inedible. Breakfast was equally poor: stale options, cold and watery eggs, hard cakes that seemed days old, and even mouldy fruit. Drinks at the bar were also very overpriced and noticeably watered down. The NYE party continued loudly until after 2am, making sleep impossible. There was no heating in our “luxury” room despite the cold, no soundproofing, and constant noise from neighbouring guests and staff on motorised vehicles throughout the night. Furthermore, the WiFi did not work at all, despite it being advertised on their website. The only positive was the quad biking experience, especially the stop at a desert café with beautiful mountain views. Unfortunately, this was not enough to justify the cost. What was advertised as a peaceful escape from Marrakech was anything but."

"Breakfast was more delicious than I expected. The service was excellent, the staff were kind, friendly, responsive, and very helpful. We did experience an issue with the shower in our room, but the team handled it thoughtfully and compensated us in a way that truly made us feel well taken care of. Although some of the facilities may feel a bit unconventional, this is completely understandable given the desert setting. Overall, the food was fresh and the service was consistently very good. Recommended if you want to have a desert experience! "
