"The area around the hotel is beautiful, located next to a sea in a Forrest. But close enough to a small town.
The Personal was super friendly and the small spa area with two tubs and a sauna is cozy."
"Wonderful place, quite close to Liseberg. Clean room and comfy beds. Nice breakfast and very friendly staff in the restaurant. The surrounding invites you to take a walk around. Definitely this place will be on top of mind when we visit Göteborg again."
"Breakfast and Dinner had a good selection whilst during the day fresh coffee, tea, juice, biscuits etc available free help yourself, if not better than some other hotels we've stayed at albeit some work going on outside poolside area which didn't bother us.

"Lovely hotel and conference centre on outskirts of Gothenburg. You do have to get a tram and there’s a short walk to get there. Huge sports centre as part of it and park/ sports fields around it. Nice to get out of the city ( a lot of building work in Gothenburg at the time of the visit). Public transport is efficient and frequent so no problem getting to and from the hotel. Rooms basic and beds very comfortable. Everything clean. Staff on reception very friendly and helpful. "

Rebeka and her husband have a lovely AirBnB type place in the country very near the Gothenburg airport. She was super helpful and kind and the place is HUGE and lovely. It’s a bit in the “country”, so if you don’t have a car be prepared to walk a bit for food. But it was great!
This stay was superb in every way. The price was very reasonable, even cheap, for the value received. Dinner and breakfast were both quality meals, and the room and total facility was excellent. Best of all was the staff, from check-in to checkout.
The property was very welcoming to families and travelers.
We cooked our own breakfast so did not eat the breakfast for purchase.
Our cabin was smaller than the one I thought I had reserved (my only complaint and I didn't check with the front desk to see if there had been a mistake). We spent most of our time out of the apartment anyway.

We had a wonderful stay at this Bed and Breakfast place. Very clean and accommodating. The shared bathrooms were extremely clean with generous space and the showers are awesome. Our room was tidy, clean and refreshing. Rooms were quiet and peaceful and great for sleeping. Everyone one was friendly and breakfast was certainly well thought out and delicious. We also were just a block or so away from the number 5 tram that takes you right into the city of Gothenberg which really is a short distance...
We had a wonderful stay. The room was very comfortable, as was the bathroom, which had a retractable clothes line. Halfway through our trip, that was most welcome. Why don’t more hotels have those?
Wonderful breakfast. Very helpful and informed staff. Great location. I would most definitely recommend the Avalon hotel.
Initial room was very small so we upgraded to a larger room with was very sufficient. In town for the Gothia Cup soccer tournament, so location offered easy access to public transit. Breakfast was very good. Staff excellent. I would stay again. Very pleased overall.
