I left DR one day ago, but my heart is still at El Beaterio! This hotel was one of the highlights of my stay in Santo Domingo -excellent price also. The hotel has a beautiful colonial architecture and is full of history and works of art. Nice area, near the Colonial sites, walkable, museums, downtown. Good breakfast. Parking ok, but with additional cost. Sunroof bar when visited, the table was not cleaned, the girl came and cleaned but after 15 minutes we left since no one came to offer service, we were asked why you leave, the answer: "no one came to offer anything" It seemed it was busy, but not at the moment we arrived.

John was Amazing taking our bags up stairs and delivering food to our door. And the dining staff has magnificent customer service always with a smile. The best so far.

Everything was great the staff was wonderful. They made me feel right at home everything I ask for and more they delivered I felt very comfortable and safe. No hassling my guest they greeted them with open arms I will be staying here when I return in May Everyone was nice and helpful from the bell hop to the ones at the front desk to the bar tenders down to the clean up crew they where all very respectful. Hotel and staff were awesome! Room was nice and the view was beautiful. Infinity pool was much smaller than pictured on Expedia, the water was cold, but it was enjoyable. The bathroom door was stuck, wouldn't lock, front desk was contacted but door was not fixed since we had to be present in the room, and we were out and about! Overall exceeded my expectations. I would stay here again.

Everything was very nice as well as all the staff. My only complaint is one set of keys for 4 people!
