Lovely place to stay with easy access to coffee shops, the Castle and the Zoo. If you want to eat there the restaurant offers superb surroundings and the service from all staff was exemplary.

The staff treats you as if you were family. Driving through the area is not easy, roads are narrow and unpaved. But it’s beautiful on the top and very peaceful.

This is a very posh, small (24 room) 5* hotel, located right in the center of the small town of Banska Stiavnica. We were the only guests that night, because the hotel had blocked reservations to get organized for the summer season (and forgot to block Expedia).
