We had a great stay at the Sands. The staff were amazing, from Mr. Ally the GM to the executive chef and the cooks like Thomas who took care of us. The food was first class - this goes for breakfast right through to dinner. Amazing food and fantastic service. The beach was beautiful, clean and safe. We could not have asked for more. Even the Masai security guards were great! We loved it. Would definitely recommend the Sands in Zanzibar. We'll be back.

We had a wonderful time at Meliks! We stayed for two nights, and Chris went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. On our arrival, we were greeted warmly by the staff, and they helped us take the bags upstairs to the room. The room was great- not huge, but it worked for the two of us. The wind blew in the windows which had shutters and in conjunction with the fan, we stayed cool on some hot days! The bathroom was clean and had hot water- only downside is that the door to...
