We enjoyed our stay as we were 2 adults & 2 small children (5 & 2). The hotel was clean and there was a pool area to take the children. The suite we stayed in was perfect to allow the children to go to sleep while we could stay up and enjoy the evening. The breakfast buffet was top notch and very filling. We stayed there to attend an event at the Messe Dusseldorf and it was only a 15 minute drive away from the hotel so it worked out perfectly.

This is a great hotel within walking distance of the airport. While it does not offer a shuttle, a taxi charges a flat fee of €15 for the short 8-minute ride. The hotel is located in a quiet corner of the airport area and has a small bar with simple food options that are decent. There is an Italian restaurant about a 12-minute walk away and a Chinese restaurant about 8 minutes away on foot. Overall, this is a great choice for a one-night stay near the airport.

WOW! We felt like we were staying in a Museum. The building itself was overwhelmingly beautiful. The rooms were well appointed. A piano player plays nightly in the salon and he is wonderful and such a great way to unwind in the evening with a glass of wine. The concierge arranged bicycle rental for us which was a fun way to ride around dusseldorf and get a little farther out of the aldstadt. The location was perfect for walking to aldstadt and riverfront and the konigstrasse. We would definitely...
