Staff member was knowledgeable and attentive-when TV didn't work in our room, we were given a second room just for TV viewing! Now THAT'S accommodation! Stunning interior-piano to play in the lobby-beautiful décor. This was the one hotel where I didn't want to leave, but could have stayed in the lobby/drawing room all day.
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! It’s a renovated hospice and every detail has been attended to. The showers were large and wonderful! The staff is courteous and friendly. Everything is very up to date and the entire property is very clean. The morning buffet is 5 star and so is the adjoining restaurant. Be sure to check out the beautiful chapel in the hotel! Also the hotel is right next door to a National Park with live animals. Definitely would stay again!
The apartment is exactly as pictured and described. The wifi worked well and the bedrooms had smart tvs so i was able to watch Netflix. Well stocked kitchen, warm shower and lots of security cameras. Heavy locked gates for added security. Beautiful terrace to look at the city. A couple things you should be aware of, 3rd floor no elevator but easy stairs and the shower floor is extremely slippery. This place is a hidden gem! An oasis of calm in the middle of a bustling, dirty city. It feels like home. The employees extended such hospitality that we felt like we were staying at a friends house. Highly recommend!

Great quiet clean rooms nice place the only bad side was the restaurants only have sandwich's for dinner, we arrived at 10:30pm after a long day traveling without food (plane) we wanted a room service but wasn't available at that time we arrived hopefully they can rearrange kitchen hours thanks
It was one of my best choices the staff was very courteous always willing to make you feel comfortable. The room is spacious, comfortable and very clean. I slept like a baby. Definitely I would recommend The Palace hotel to anyone you won't regret it. I stayed two nights when I arrived and when I came back i booked the same hotel two more nights just to spend my last days in Guayaquil. Grand Hotel is a stunning property. They took really good care of us, from airport pick-up to giving us milk for my toddler late at night. The receptionists were happy to help us with directions and answer any queries. The Grand Hotel pool is an oasis, it was breathtaking. We stayed here two nights. Breakfast spread was amazing and the food was delicious. We ate one dinner there too, totally worth it! Excellent service, great staff, breathtaking pool, decent-sized rooms, centrally located!
Staff was attentive and helpful. The room was comfortable and breakfast in the morning was delicious and attractively served. The grounds are beautiful - a place of retreat. It is placed high on the hill above the noise of the city and is quiet and restful. I have stayed here twice and both times were a welcome interlude in my travels. I would recommend it to anyone needing a place of rest before going on their way.
