We loved our stay in Gdansk at the Podewils. It is slightly out of the main historic district, and hence very quiet, although the main district is available with a 5 minute walk. The staff and ownership of the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and eager to help in all ways. The breakfast was excellent, with cooked eggs and bacon available in addition to a complete buffet. This is a classically styled hotel in an older building. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The room was massive, the accessible food hall with breakfast lunch and dinner available was great. Located in a great complex with access to a small market for snacks. We will absolutely be back

very nice hotel,friendly staff, good rooms,very nice bar and Breakfast,Just need a car as its unsentral,can highly reccomend it and they have good parking space
This is an absolutely incredible hotel. It is very nice and modern. It is in a great location. The staff is very nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Gdansk. My only comment to people considering this hotel is that there are four rooms on the fourth floor and the elevator only goes to the third floor.

The location of this hotel is excellent, but as Rick Steves notes in his guidebook, it’s a very basic accommodation. My room stank like a wet dog, so I slept with my windows open to air out the place. I thought it was the carpet at first, but the stench was permeated in the mattress and in the mornings my pjs and I also smelled of it. There were obnoxious, drunken tourists also staying at this hotel, and one of them had the room next to mine. His friends would start pounding repeatedly on...

The location/price is a great value. The staff were lovely. The room had a fan rather than a/c which was sufficient for the temperature during my stay.
Was a wonderful hotel-rooms very clean and updated.Bathroom small but nice.The view from our room sucked-Since we were spending 3 nites we requested a little better but it didn’t happen /always excuse 😫
