Hubby and I spent 4 nights in this great hotel for our 30th anniversary. We arrived early on check in day and the room was not ready. They gave suggestions on having a bite to eat and held our luggage for us. Upon our return, we were ecstatic to find out they upgraded our room! Such a great surprise! The hotel and staff were very good. Its placed just off the main street, so you don't have to hear all the noise. There is a national forest in the back of the city that you can enjoy a nice walk with small waterfalls. The staff was spot on on all their recommendations. When we go back, we will stay here again.
This hotel was above and beyond... from the second we walked in, the staff ensured we felt like we are on vacation. They assisted us with as many things as possible. I loved staying here. I highly recommend this Hotel. It’s not close to Sorrento, so renting a car is a good idea if you fly or train to Napoli. The road to Almafi coast is crowded and narrow, plus difficult parking anywhere, so I would suggest the ferry or bus.
I didn’t know they had a shuttle service to the train station until my last day. I could have saved a lot of money. The taxis are Very expensive and the shuttle was 2.50 compared to 20 one way.
The Mirmare is a lovely hotel with a unique experience. Firstly, it's in Positano which is gorgeous and has fantastic food. We had called ahead because the town of Positano is a little confusing to get around. The Miramare had a porter flag us down when we got close. The staff here at the front desk are really wonderful. I am terrible with names (both the remembering and the spelling) so I am not sure but I want to say Agnes, Ivanah and another woman. They recommended great places to go, setup a wonderful wine tasting, and just generally were very pleasant to work with throughout.

Location - Perfect, seriously. Quick walk to Main Beach (5-10 mins) but situated on Cristoforo Colombo which has several nice bars/restaurants & amazing views. Also only 5 min. walk to the Sponda SITA bus stop (other stop is at the top of town). Couldn't beat it.

Great place to stay in Positano. It is right in the water - if the weather is nice. You can easily go for a swim. It is also just about 10 minutes from the lower city center. It is a bit of a walk to the upper city, but Positano is built on a cliff - so it will always be a walk to many places. Make sure to call ahead as they have a free porter service to take you bags all the way down to the hotel for you. It was very nice.
All the staff were so kind and helpful! They helped us with all of our dinner suggestions and things to do around town! Restaurants on site made dining for lunch and dinner very convenient, and the food was awesome! The pool was magnificent with a bar area and views all day. We will miss this Hotel as it is one of the best hotels we have stayed at.
This hotel is a gem!! The private beach access alone makes it a must stay! The food by the beach is great and the beach chairs and easy water access means you can stay out there all day. Bring your water shoes because the small rocks when you're getting in and out are a little rough. Prisco was in a great location, close to shops, the beach, taxi stand. Roma and the rest of the staff were welcoming and accommodating(held our luggage, booked put taxi to Naples). I would definitely return back to Royal Prisco!
