"We very much enjoyed our stay at B&B Hotel Viana de Costello; the location worked extremely well for us walking the Camino and the hotel was spotlessly clean and super well maintained. While the room was pretty basic - it is for want of better words a business hotel - everything worked well and was more than comfortable. All in all the perfect two day break to rest our weary legs! Obrigardo!"

"hotel muy romantico, pero en las habitaciones el no tener privacidad en el aseo no es muy comodo. Ducha a un lado y aseo y water a otro lado. Colgador de toallas para duchas para personas de casi 2 metros. Regular el agua caliente lleva mucho tiempo. Y sales y das vuelta a toda la habitacion para poder ir al labavo. Ha coincidido con mucho calor y las habitaciones no estaban bien aclimatadas. Desayuno muy bueno"

"It’s a beautiful hotel in a stunning location, brand new and very clean. The spa is amazing and the views are wonderful. It’s very remote, so if you want to “do anything” or eat outside of the hotel you will need a car. The staff were lovely, even if in some cases they spoke limited English (which is understandable)."

"Beautiful hotel with a historical feel. The room and service were also lovely. Excellent breakfast spread although it may pose problems for gluten free types. I highly recommend it as an interesting alternative to other 4 and 5 star hotels."

"Arriving at the front door of the hotel is not straightforward if you are travelling by car. The brief instructions provided by the hotel after you have booked do not adequately explain what you need to do to park your car and gain access to the hotel. The hotel sits above the underground carpark immediately below the modern but soulless Braga railway station. As you approach the railway station you will encournter a roundabout. Halfway through the roundabout is a sign to the left indicating a parking station "Parking Estatio". Enter this carpark via the descending ramp. Take a ticket at the boom gate. Drive as far as you can through the carpark and you will see a sign "Basic Hotel Private Parking". Buzz reception if the boom gate to this section is down, otherwise drive through and find a spot to park. Unpack your luggage and locate the set of doors with signage "Basic Hotel Entrance". Buzz reception from the intercom on your right. Reception will open the entry door. Use the lift inside to journey to level 0 where reception is located. The tariff board as you entered the carpark indicates that it may cost as much as 8 euro for parking. The hotel has negotiated a 5 euro tariff for parking from 15:00 to 13:00 the next day. Advise reception that you have parked in the underground carpark and you will be charged 5 euro and given a subsitute ticket to use when exiting the carpark."
