Puterenas is a busy port and not really a center for tourism. I reserved here as a halfway point from Tamarindo to Quepos. What a wonderful surprise. Beautiful large condo unit with fabulous views of the water and boats on both sides of the property. 2 great pools, full professional gym with all the machines and free weights, and a great little restaurant.

A beautiful space, well suited for our family of 4 with 2 teens. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy. We spotted many birds from the outdoor area including white throated parrots and keel billed toucans. Even if it's raining there is a screened patio room and covered porch. This is a beautiful area and a lovely place to stay.

We had a 7:00 am tour so we couldn’t utilize regular breakfast. They made us a sandwich, fruit, and juice which was appreciated, but if all that was done, they could have just as easily fed us normal breakfast a little early. Also, a little difficult to check out and still be able to access your car when you return.

A nice location by the beach. The rooms are behind a restaurant, keeping it quieter. The accommodations are older with rooms that show some wear, but that’s a minor cosmetic concern. it’s a fine place to stay!
